Awesome socket, maybe the best available. I tend to prefer magnetic but, in the 6 point, this clip style is the only style offered in the Z series which is Koken’s low profile high end lineup. And it works great. Way better than rubber inserts! And the shape leaves no extra material. It is made as thin as possible at every point. Awesome design, premium quality. Bought from US Tool Hub site b/c they had the best price and a solid reputation.

Interesting concept having spring on both sides that guides and locks the base of the spark plug into place along with a centering hole beneath. In practice, it works better than the traditional rubber ones and is gentler than the magnetic sockets. It is also as low profile as it gets. Typical Koken high end quality at a reasonable price. Can't recommend it enough. The one thing it is missing is an actual detent hole. It uses modern chrome socket style grooves which a locking extension will typically have no issue retaining, but a hole is only full proof option here, which is why you still see them on many high end spark plug sockets. That being said, Koken's grooves are deep and precise, and it seems highly unlikely you will ever lose this socket with a quality locking extension.

Super sturdy and easy to handle. Price is good and they offer fast and cheap shipping! I will order again.
